PAF Defeated the Enemy in Operation Bunyan Marsoos, Air Chief

Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Chief Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu has said that Operation Bunyan Marsoos resulted in a decisive victory for Pakistan, stating that on May 10, PAF successfully destroyed the enemy’s defence systems.

Addressing the passing-out parade at PAF Academy Risalpur, he said the success in the “Battle of Truth” reflects the force’s superior operational capabilities and professionalism.

The Air Chief revealed that when Pakistan’s sovereignty was challenged during the night of May 6 and 7, the PAF responded immediately and effectively, shooting down enemy fighter jets including Rafale aircraft. He added that Pakistan also demonstrated clear dominance in cyber warfare, monitoring every enemy movement in real time and executing precision-based operations within moments.

He said the Rafale’s much-touted capabilities proved “zero” against the strength of the Pakistan Air Force. He further stated that although PAF had the capability to inflict greater damage, as a professional force, its actions remain calculated, responsible, and aimed at achieving peace with dignity.

Air Chief Marshal Sidhu added that the success of the Battle of Truth and Pakistan’s advanced warfare strategy have been recognized internationally, with global defence institutions studying the PAF’s operational performance.

He emphasized that every officer and airman of PAF is fully prepared to defend the nation at all times. He also praised the leadership role of Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir during the operation.

Concluding his remarks, the Air Chief said Pakistan is a peace-loving country, but any miscalculation or challenge from the enemy will be met with a decisive response. He added that Pakistan is a responsible nuclear power, and the nation’s trust in its armed forces remains the greatest strength of the country.
